Communication Federal Credit Union offers a variety of convenient services to help make your experience with the credit union the best it can be. CFCU Mobile Banking

  • Access your accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Check your balance, transfer funds and pay bills
  • Securely send money to friends and family and
  • Remotely deposit checks for free with your smartphone or tablet

Debit Cards

  • Use in place of writing checks wherever VISA is accepted
  • No “per-purchase” fees
  • Can also be used as an ATM card at thousands of ATMs worldwide; available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Honor Pay Overdraft Protection

  • Saves returned check fees from merchants
  • You may “opt-in” to have your debit card purchases covered by Honor Pay
  • All other means of overdraft protection will be attempted prior to use of Honor Pay
  • When an overdraft occurs, your account will be taken negative by the dollar amount of the overdraft, plus the service charge of $25 per use
  • Allows you to overdraw your account up to the account types’ maximum at any one time
  • A service charge will be assessed for each overdraft item. There are no additional fees or monthly service charges for Honor Pay
  • You must have direct deposit of at least $500 per month for two consecutive months and the account must be in good standing to qualify for Honor Pay
  • The account must be open a minimum of two months to qualify for Honor Pay

Direct Deposit/Payroll Deduction

  • Any amount can be allocated from your paycheck and electronically deposited to any CFCU account immediately on payday (does not include bonus or incentive checks)
  • Funds that are directly deposited are usually available at 12:01 am of the company’s regular payday
  • Amounts may also be allocated to make payments electronically on loans, lines of credit and credit cards
  • There are no fees for these services
